Islington Wedding Photos | Andrew & Luke
I remember saying to Andrew and Luke years ago at another wedding, that they should get married – it’d be great. What would also be great was if I could shoot it. Because you see the both of them are full of life and happiness, there’s never a dull moment around them. That’s how it seems to me anyway. Roll forward a few years and guess what? They’re getting married and they want me to do their wedding, awesome!
The day was everything I imagined it would be, non-stop laughter and tears of joy with the pair of them being typically outrageous. The morning at Andrews consisted largely of speeches and buttonhole flowers before Luke arrived. Then a trip on the Metropolitan line into Baker Street and onwards to the imposing Islington Town Hall for the ceremony.
They chose The Canonbury as their reception venue and its a great location with great staff. The whole room were suitably surprised when the bridal party entered with animal face-masks on and this more or less set the scene for the evening, with even more fun and laughter and a few more teary eyes here and there. Take a peek at the pictures below, there’s a few from each part of the day that should give you a feel for the whole shebang.
It was clear to see throughout the day and in some of the pictures, the love these guys have for each other. But then, why the hell not? It seems to me they’re made for each other…
Andrew and Luke, thanks for a wonderful time that was enjoyed by everyone who spent time in your company on that special day.
